Global Partners in Care’s goal is to serve as the best possible financial steward to help your organization maintain the most effective relationship with your international partner.
A major benefit of having your partnership through Global Partners in Care is that the organization facilitates receipt and distribution of all partnership funds. Under the partnership agreement, Global Partners in Care receives all funds raised for international partners and wires those funds to the appropriate organization(s) in accordance with stringent internal and international accounting protocols. Global Partners in Care also tracks the distribution of funds and sends acknowledgement and tax receipts for all donations.
Global Partners in Care’s Partnership Donation Procedures and Policies document describes general partnership procedures as well as specific details about handling:
- Cash and Money Orders
- Fundraising Events
- Payroll Deductions
- Online Donations
- Memorial and Honorary Donations
- Wiring Procedures
- Accumulation of Funds for Special Projects
We ask U.S. partner organizations to include the Partner Donation Designation Form with all donations submitted to Global Partners in Care. This form specifies the donation amount and the donor’s contact information for use in official tax acknowledgment letter(s).
All partnership donations are required to provide a 10 percent remittance to cover Global Partners in Care’s administrative costs.
